Why Do Kids need to learn how to count in 2’s, 5’s and 10’s?
Lots of people might be thinking why children need to learn to count in 2s, 5s and 10s. It might seem purposeless too, But really it’s not the case. It helps children with so many mathematical concepts. The better children learn these building blocks of maths, the better they will perform in calculations. For Example:
- This helps children understand patterns thus improve their problem-solving skills.
- It helps them to learn times tables
- Counting in 2s helps them to understand the concept of even and odd better.
- Gives good understanding to children for the concept of more-than.
